Hoverspeeds fast links to and from Belgium

Taking just one hour to cross the Channel from Dover to Calais by Hoverspeeds Seacats, the through service includes a return coach connection from the Calais Hoverport to Ostend, providing passengers from the UK with an ideal shopping flyer or longer day excursion.

Operating twice daily, the coach service will also connect with international train arrivals and departures into Ostend Railway Station a major rail connecting hub for many Continental destinations. The service will also provide good day trip opportunities for the inbound tourist market from Belgium into the UK, giving day trippers over six hours to visit towns and attractions in Kent.

National Express coach services will also be linking with the inbound Ostend Calais Dover Hoverspeed services, with onward connections to Canterbury and London.

First connecting service is the 1000am Seacat service from Dover, arriving Ostend at 1330, arriving back into Dover at 1645 local time. The later departure from Dover is at 1830, arriving Ostend at 2200 local time. Coach departures leave Ostend daily at 0900 and 1500 local time.

The Ostend excursions include a shopping flyer price of 19 return, and adult/child day return fares of 20 or 15 single.

Day trippers can also take advantage of Hoverspeeds unique shopping facilities at the Dover Hoverport where a wide selection of wines, beers and spirits are available. A pre-order, pre-pay service is available for shoppers before leaving the UK. Foot passengers can collect their orders on arrival back in the UK, after passport control.
